Mrs. Martha Louise Jeter, 84, of 195 John Jeter Lane, Carlisle S.C., died Wednesday October 26th 2016 at her home. Mrs. Jeter was born August 22nd 1932. She was the daughter of the late John R. Jeter and Annie Bell Jones Jeter. Survivors include two daughters Marion (Willie) Spears, Rose Jeter all of Carlisle, a special niece Dakelia Fleming, six brothers John R. Jeter (Annie Ruth), Aiken Jeter (Roslyn), all of Santuc, Ervin Jeter (Linda) of Union, Rice Jeter of Jonesville, Odell Stewart and Curtis Lee Stewart both of Union, two sisters Mae Ruth Jeter of Union, and Pastor Francis Young of Murrells Inlet S.C. one grandchild and one great grandchild. She was pedeceased by two brothers Robert W. Jeter and James D. Jeter Sr. and a nephew James D. Jeter Jr. Funeral services will be held Sunday October 30th 2016 at 2pm at Bethesda Baptist Church.Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be held Saturday from 11am-6pm at Whitney Funeral Home. The family is at the home 195 John jeter Lane Carlisle S.C. 29031.
