Mrs. Carol E. Lyles, 55, of 1208 West Main St. Union, the daughter of the late John and Gertrude Boler entered into eternal rest on April 4th 2017 after a long battle with illness. She was preceded in death by one brother Larry “Bean” Dawkins of Whitmire. She leaves behind her husband of 37 years, James L. Lyles of the home, two daughters Asurdee Lyles of Spartanburg, Jesseca Lyles of Jonesville, one son Travis (Chasity) Lyles of Union, three sisters Curtis (James) Hunter of Santuc, Linda (Leroy) Johnson of Santuc, Marylyn D. (Ronnie) Jeter of Carlisle, two brothers John D. Boler of Union, Arthur L. Stevens of Carlisle, seven grandchildren, and a aunt Mae Ruth Lyles. Funeral services will be held Thursday May 4th 2017 at 1pm at Outreach Deliverance church with Pastor Eddie McConnell officiating. The body will be placed in the Church at Noon. Viewing will be held Wednesday from 11am-7pm at Whitney Memorial Funeral Home, 2212 Santuc Carlisle Highway. The family is at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Faye and Leroy Johnson, 127 Carlisle-Santuc School Road. Whitney Memorial funeral home is serving the family.
