Mrs. Betty Lyles Mobley, 56, widow of Mr. Harold Mobley, of 124 Lawrence St. Carlisle S.C. died Sunday October 2nd 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Mobley was born March 12th 1960. She was the daughter of Bobbie Jean Sartor Lyles and the late L.B. Lyles. Surviving in addition to her mother are two sons Chance and Devonta E. Mobley of the home, three brothers James Lyles (Carol) of Union, John Lyles, Dale Sims both of Ohio, three sisters Sadie Jeter of Union, Juanita Lyles of Carlisle, Margaret Sims of Ohio, and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 8th 2016 at 2pm at St. Luke A.M.E. Zion Church. Burial will follow at Williams Chapel. Visitation will be from 11am-8pm at Whitney Memorial Funeral Home, 2212 Santuc Hwy. Union S.C. 29379. The family is at the home of her sister Sadie Jeter, 105 Kissy Creek Circle Union S.C. 29379.
